It’s how you get there that counts…
A journey like know other. British based artist Alex Hartley has begun his travels around South West of England for the 2012 Cultural Olympiad project called nowhereisland. The luna module designed by Harold Steptoe is based on the 1960’s artist village “The Drop”, Colorado.
“This epic journey will begin in June 2012 to coincide with the sailing events of the Olympic Games. As the landscape of nowhereisland moves through the landscape of the South coast of England, it will embody the spirit and values of the 2012 Cultural Olympiad: excellence, friendship and respect..”
